Uniform Conveyancing Blanks

Real estate conveyancing forms drafted by the Minnesota Advisory Task Force on Uniform Conveyancing Forms (UCBs) and adopted by the Minnesota Department of Commerce.

Note: The Task Force reviewed recent legislation relating to mortgage foreclosure, specifically the amendments to Minn. Stat. 580.025 and Minn. Stat. 580.12, which were effective August 1, 2008 and August 1, 2009. The UCBs dealing with mortgage foreclosure have been revised accordingly. What Changed?

What's a UCB?

The Uniform Conveyancing Blanks (UCBs) are real estate conveyancing forms drafted by the Minnesota Advisory Task Force on Uniform Conveyancing Forms, a task force appointed by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce to recommend amendments to existing forms or adoption of new forms.

Need to Edit?

ECBs (editable conveyancing blanks) are Microsoft Word documents patterned after the Uniform Conveyancing Blanks and allow individualization without compromising the uniformity of the UCBs (see ECBs v. UCBs). Go to ECBs

DOC Orders

The Minnesota Department of Commerce approves all new UCBs and revisions to existing UCBs. These approval Orders are available on practicelaw.DOC Orders
