Staff

Dick Ericson

Dick is the Minnesota State Bar Association's director of web services. He coordinates staff-wide initiatives to maintain and enhance all of the association's web postings, including mnbar.org, and works closely with practicelaw's editorial and technical staff. He has also helped to develop materials for mndocs, the MSBA's document assembly system. In the dark ages before the Internet, he served as associate editor of Bench & Bar magazine and its former sister publication, MSBA in Brief. His educational background includes a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin and graduate studies in Journalism at the University of Minnesota.

Karol Engstrom Narum

Karol is the online media director and has been with the MSBA since 1999. She is the editor of Legal News Digest, responsible for enhancing online services, designing promotional material, and handling media relations.

Andrea J. Hable

Andrea joined the practicelaw staff in July 2009 as an attorney editor. She is a 2008 graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, where she was an editor for the William Mitchell Law Review. Andrea splits her time between work at practicelaw and building and maintaining a solo practice in the trust and estate planning area.

Nancy B. Hupp

Nancy is the practicelaw Director. After graduating from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1983, she worked in a mid-size civil practice firm in St. Paul, specializing in real estate matters. She left private practice and started teaching in 1993, first as an Assistant Professor in Hamline University's undergraduate Legal Studies Department, and subsequently as an Adjunct Writing Professor at William Mitchell College of Law. She and her husband have three children and live in South Minneapolis.

Leslie Matton-Flynn

Leslie is the practicelaw production manager for the MSBA and works closely with practicelaw editors to develop site content. She is responsible for the design, production, review and revision of legal forms and related materials.

Bob Striker

Bob is the Practice Development Director of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is a 1994 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Law. Before joining the MSBA, Bob practiced in the areas of real estate, corporate, and energy law. Bob spent the first 15 years of his practice at a large Minneapolis law firm before establishing a solo practice. Bob lives in South Minneapolis with his wife and two sons.

Holly Wu

Holly is the online services manager at the Minnesota State Bar Association. She designs, develops and manages web pages for the various web sites of the association. After graduating with a Masters degree in Software Systems from University of St. Thomas in 2003, she developed application software using Visual Basic for a financial service company before beginning her work for the MSBA. She currently researches and develops new approaches to electronic communications and services, including database integration, interactive web pages, and content management. She and her husband have one child and live in St Paul.
