Court Opinions by Email

Keep current with the latest court decisions with CourtOps. This no-cost, MSBA members-only service delivers all published appellate opinions from Minnesota and the U.S. Eighth Circuit courts to you via email within hours after their release.

MSBA members may sign up to receive prompt email delivery of the latest court opinions. Each email subject line identifies the subject matter and issue or each case, which allows you to keep only what you need and delete the rest. We offer four separate subscription lists, each covering different types of decisions. For the list(s) to which you subscribe, you will receive each opinion in a separate email.

• The email will arrive on the day the court releases the opinion.
• The email header will identify the substantive area of law involved in the opinion and a shorthand description of the issues.
• The body of the email will contain the court’s syllabus (or similar short description) of its decision.
• The opinion will be linked and also attached to the email.

To sign up for a list, click the name of the list in the "Subscribe" column. A new email message will open in a separate window and you need only click "Send" to subscribe.
